I attended my first Beth concert in San Francico last Friday, and she was GREAT.

Beth hit the stage at the soldout Fillmore Auditorium at a little past 10 PM and proceeded to play for almost 2 hours despite announcing at the beginning that she was not feeling well ("I have the flu. A really bad fever.") You would have never known it by her performance. Backed by a band that consisted of a bass fiddle, keyboardist, drums, cello, violin and guitarist and with Beth on acoustic guitar they played a lot of new songs from her soon to be released new album (due out in July) along with many songs from "Central Reservation." Also, a great "She Cries Your Name."

Beth heads back east on the tour now. Be sure to catch this show if it's in an area near you.
