The concert in Malmo was sold out
if I understood it correctly (the venue takes 800 persons), whereas
Copenhagen was quite poorly attended (the venue takes 600, I'm guessing
maybe 400 persons were there). Both concerts were well received by the
audience.
The band was 6 persons in addition to Beth (guitar, bass, drums,
keyboards, violin, cello), and they sounded great. The setlists were very
similar for both nights, and as I'm not that big fan of Daybreaker I
thought she concentrated too much on the songs from that one. Also, as a
fan of acoustic Beth, I enjoyed most the stuff with just guitar and cello;
This One's Gonna Bruise and Concrete Sky were magnificent. But I'm not
really complaining about the rest either, it was nice to hear the new
songs in
live versions. |
