november 17 > Beauty In You
There has been reports of a new song titled Beauty In You. First reported by NME.com during a review of a show Jan 25 2002 in London. Then there were doubts that such a song exist and most of us thought it is probably misreported by NME.com. But yesterday, at Minneapolis (16th Nov), Beth Orton performed a new song titled, Beauty In You as reported by Ben Cosgrove who went to see her live. Also last night, Beth Orton performed Bobby Gentry for the first time. Beth Orton also performed a SuperPinkyMandy classic, Where Do You Go.

To read the NME.com article, please go to: http://www.nme.com/news/14502.htm
The review of the 25 Jan 2002 show also reported another new song called Holding On. The song was performed with Johnny Marr who did 3 other songs, Beauty In You, Concrete Sky and Someone's Daughter.

november 15 > Anywhere 12" release in US?
There could possibly be a double 12" release of Anywhere in US. Opalmusic listed a pre-order for Anywhere double 12" vinyl to be released in the US on 25th November 2002. Opalmusic did not have a tracklisting for the double 12" but listed Four Tet mix of Carmella and 2 Two Lone Swordsmen remixes as some of tracks available on the vinyl.

Also CDnow has a listing for a Anywhere 12" vinyl but it did not say whether it is a double vinyl. Neither does it have any tracklisting. It says a November 26th release by AstralWerks. CDnow is selling the 12" for USD8.99. To pre-order, please visit CDnow.

Vinyl junkies, please email me if you have more information on this!

november 06 > Dolores on Beth
Posted by SineadFanFromIreland

I was just lookin at the Cranberries site, and the lead singer had this to say about Beth Orton.

"I've been feeding my habit of purchasing CD's recently and I got my hands on Beck's new one; Jeff Buckley 'Songs To No One'; Peter Gabriel's 'Up' and Beth Orthon's 'Daybreaker'. I'm afraid I haven't listened to any of the others that much as I find myself putting on 'Daybreaker' and can't seem to bring myself to remove it! It is one of the most incredibly georgous albums I've heard for ages!"
