From: Nigel
Beth Orton did an acoustic set at Sydney Studios for Triple J radio on Sunday Feb 16th. The set includes Paris Train, Concrete Sky, Ted's Waltz, Stolen Car and She Cries Your Name. During the show, Beth Orton was saying how Concrete Sky was about London, and how the weather is so heavy.. and the sky just pushes you down into the ground... and she was trying to say that Paris Train was her apocolyptic vision of... but she kept getting tongue twisted so she just said Bollocks and started playing. And the whole Stolen Car was inspired by Judas story. You can also listen to the interview she did on Triple J Breakfast Show: |
